Sharon J. Sobers
Ms. Sobers is an associate in the law firm of Finney, Stagnaro, Saba & Patterson Co., L.P.A. where she concentrates in Employment Law and Commercial Litigation.
Ms. Sobers, a certified specialist in Labor and Employment Law, has been practicing employment law for over 15 years. She has won several federal jury trials in cases involving FMLA, ADA, and Title VII (sexual harassment). She has argued in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Ohio Appellate Courts.

Presentations and Publications
For several years Ms. Sobers co-edited and supplemented Litigating Wrongful Discharge Claims, a three volume summary of employment law from the plaintiffs’ perspective, published by West Group, a Thomson Company.
She has served as the plaintiff bar representative on a panel discussing restrictive covenants at the mid-winter labor law section of the American Bar Association; made presentations on ethics, the FMLA, and practice in the Sixth Circuit to the Ohio Employment Lawyers Association; and made a presentation on mandatory arbitration at a Cincinnati Bar Association labor and employment law seminar.

Before joining Finney, Stagnaro, Saba & Patterson Co., L.P.A, Ms. Sobers was an attorney at Tobias, Kraus & Torchia in Cincinnati, Ohio for 14 years. She has also worked for two years as a law clerk for an administrative law judge in the Department of Labor.
She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association and the Christian Legal Society. She has been active in the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), the Ohio Employment Lawyers Association and Cincinnati Employment Lawyers Association.
