Finney, Stagnaro, Saba & Patterson Co. LPA, announces the addition of Tricia G. Tomich as an associate in the firm’s expanding litigation practice area.

Tomich, recently admitted to practice in Ohio, earned her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. She will concentrate her practice in general civil litigation and constitutional law in the Anderson Township office of FSSP. “Tricia will be a great addition to our team, and we are thrilled to have her on board,” commented Chris Finney, shareholder with Finney, Stagnaro, Saba & Patterson.

Tomich is a graduate of Xavier University (2005) and the University of Cincinnati College of Law (2010), where she served as an associate member of the University of Cincinnati Law Review and was an articles editor for Human Rights Quarterly. During law school, she clerked at the Cincinnati Insurance Company and the City of Cincinnati Law Department. She is a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Section of the CBA.

Recently married, Tomich enjoys cooking with her husband as well as attending Xavier basketball games. After work and on weekends, she can be found at the dog park with her Llewellin Setter, Daphne.

Christopher P. Finney appointed to Board of 1851 Center

Christopher P. Finney guest speaker at ALEC convention in San Diego

Chirs Finney will be a guest speaker at the upcoming Annual Convention for The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). His presenation, “Legal Strategies in Constitutional Law to Combat the Growth of Government”, will be part of the agenda on August 7th for the Task Force: Tax & Fiscal Policy.

ALEC’s 37th Annual Meeting will be held in the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, CA from August 5-8, 2010.

The ALEC is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the Jeffersonian principles of free markets, limited government, federalism, and individual liberty, through a nonpartisan public-private partnership of America’s state legislators, members of the private sector, the federal government, and general public.

Mr. Donovan joined the firm in July, 2001 and has litigated, tried and argued cases before the Federal Courts, Courts of Common Pleas, and Courts of Appeals throughout Ohio, as well as the Circuit Courts in Kentucky. While Mr. Donovan’s commercial practice is primarily focused in the representation and defense of corporations and employers in commercial, contract, tort and real estate litigation, he also represents parties in personal injury and wrongful death cases.
