LPA, has been appointed to the board of 1851 Center for Constitutional Law, an Ohio non-profit corporation dedicated to protecting the constitutional rights of Ohioans from government abuse. The 1851 Center for Constitutional Law is located in Columbus, OH.

Christopher P. Finney guest speaker at ALEC convention in San Diego

Chirs Finney will be a guest speaker at the upcoming Annual Convention for The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). His presenation, “Legal Strategies in Constitutional Law to Combat the Growth of Government”, will be part of the agenda on August 7th for the Task Force: Tax & Fiscal Policy. 

ALEC’s 37th Annual Meeting will be held in the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, CA from August 5-8, 2010.

The ALEC is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the Jeffersonian principles of free markets, limited government, federalism, and individual liberty, through a nonpartisan public-private partnership of America’s state legislators, members of the private sector, the federal government, and general public.

Our firm is proud to announce the addition of Sean P. Donovan as a principal in the law firm. Mr. Donovan concentrates in commercial litigation, real estate litigation, construction litigation, personal injury and wrongful death.

Mr. Donovan joined the firm in July, 2001 and has litigated, tried and argued cases before the Federal Courts, Courts of Common Pleas, and Courts of Appeals throughout Ohio, as well as the Circuit Courts in Kentucky. While Mr. Donovan’s commercial practice is primarily focused in the representation and defense of corporations and employers in commercial, contract, tort and real estate litigation, he also represents parties in personal injury and wrongful death cases. Mr. Donovan also counsels both profit and non-for profit corporate clients in employment and other business matters.

He is a member of the Ohio State and Cincinnati Bar Associations. He received his law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and has his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Chicago.

FSSP Announces addition of two attorneys to litigation practice

Jeffrey M. Nye and Joshua B. Bolinger have joined the law firm of Finney Stagnaro Saba & Patterson Co. LPA (FSSP) 

Nye is an associate in the litigation practice group at the firm’s Hyde Park office where he will concentrate his practice in commercial litigation, construction litigation, real estate litigation, personal injury and wrongful death. Nye worked most recently as a law clerk in the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas where he managed the court’s civil docket, drafted opinions, performed legal research and assisted with the implementation of the Commercial Docket Pilot Program. Bolinger will be supporting FSSP’s constitutional law practice area in the firm’s Anderson office.
